In order to meet the needs of enterprise development and to ensure the company's core competitiveness is maintained, a research and development center was established on the basis of the original ministry of science and technology in early 2013. Today there are now 17 scientific research personnel and two laboratories, including 4 professor-level senior engineers, 3 senior engineers, 5 engineers, oil field chemical laboratory, and an ultrasonic oil production laboratory. The center is focused on innovative research and development into low permeability oil and gas reservoirs, shale gas drilling, fracturing, logging, augment production and injection and other oil and gas technologies. An initial team was developed with organically complementary multi-disciplinary and reasonably professional capabilities.
